Sunderland calls for consultation on administrative reorganisation within the NHS

Speaking in an Adjournment debate on administrative reorganisation in the NHS where the clinical commissioning groups are being replaced with integrated care systems, James Sunderland calls for a pause in the process to enable more consultation.

James Sunderland (Bracknell) (Con)

Does my hon. Friend agree that, because Members of Parliament in Nottinghamshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Suffolk, Essex and beyond have not been adequately consulted on these proposals, we should pause any decision with a view to looking more objectively at what is on the table?

Sir Bernard Jenkin (Harwich and North Essex) (Con)

My hon. Friend anticipates what I might say later.
