Following the announcement earlier this year of the consultation to consider a partnership between Silva Homes, based in Bracknell and the Abri Group, James Sunderland has welcomed news that the boards of both organisations have now approved the partnership.

The formal completion of the partnership will take place on the 2nd of October 2023, with SILVA Homes becoming a subsidiary of the Abri Group.

Combining their skills and resources and organising services on a regional basis will result in more resources being available within the enlarged group to support social housing within Bracknell Forest, improve efficiency in requested and planned repairs and maintenance, and spend on community projects to the benefit of customers.

The enlarged group will also be able to invest more in their existing homes and compete to build more affordable homes to rent in the Bracknell Forest area. The Bracknell office of SILVA Homes will be the new regional hub of the merged group.
