We are all profoundly sad to hear of the passing of Her Majesty the Queen. She was our Head of State, our Queen, a wonderful example to us all and a remarkable global icon. She commanded total respect across the World and we will not see her like again.

I know that many people across Bracknell Constituency and beyond will feel deeply upset by her death. She met many people locally and was a frequent visitor to Bracknell over the years. We were blessed with her love and presence. Truly it is the end of an era.

However, we should also be thankful for her life, her magnificent sense of duty and her devoted service to others. Indeed, she touched us profoundly in so many ways that are unique to us.

My thoughts and prayers are with her and every member of the Royal Household. God bless her and God save the King.
