James Sunderland supports the Mental Health Foundation in Mental Health Awareness Week.
The Happiness Hub
Locally, James is backing the Happiness Hub.
He said:
“This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. We all know that when you are feel low or stressed getting out for a walk and talking to others can be a huge help so I am pleased to support the Happiness Hub which is run by Bracknell Forest Council and local mental health and advice services.”
The Happiness Hub walks are being held this week in different locations across the borough. You will be able to grab a drink and a bite to eat, enjoy a walk through the beautiful local environment and chat to fellow walkers.
Friday’s session will include Thai Chi, as well as a walk, with a chance to meet local community services that might be of interest, such as the volunteer service.
The services that make up the Happiness Hub are:
• Bracknell Forest Community Network
• Sport in Mind
• Stepping Stones Recovery College
• Bracknell Forest Social Prescribers/NHS Frimley CCG Social Prescribers
• Friends in Need
Walks are taking place each day in various locations across the borough.
