Following requests from James and other MPs, the Department for Education have confirmed the continuation of the schools PE and Sports Premium for 2020/2021. In addition is was agreed that any underspend for the 2019/20 school year can be carried forward.

The PE and Sports Premium is important to provide children with a positive experience of sport and physical activity at a young age that can build a lifetime habit of participation, and is central to meeting the government’s ambitions for a world-class education system.
