James Sunderland MP is supporting Armed Forces Week which leads up to Armed Forces Day on Saturday 27 June.
James, who served in the army for 26 years, said:
“Armed Forces Week is a chance for everyone to show their support and appreciation for our servicemen and women and the wider military community.
“This year, more than ever, we have seen our armed forces active in our local communities as they provide vital logistics support in the fight against Covid-19.”
There will be muted celebrations on Armed Forces Day this year but people can still show their support from home. For information on how to do this visit: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/armed-forces-week
