Local MP, James Sunderland, attended the official opening of the new Heathlands Care Home, by HRH the Duke of Gloucester.
The new Heathlands Care Home is a partnership between Bracknell Forest Council and Frimley CCG. Windsar Care, a care provider specialising in supporting people living with dementia, has been appointed to manage the care home.
James said:
“It was a beautiful day in Bracknell, yesterday and a privilege to welcome the Duke of Gloucester to the opening of this fantastic new care home.
“It was great to meet the superb staff, residents and people involved with the development.
“I would also like to especially thank Cllr Dale Birch, Stuart McKellar at Bracknell Forest Council and Fiona Slevin-Brown from Frimley NHS Clinical Commission Group for their leadership.
“Plus, of course, a big shout out to Stepnell Ltd who completed the redevelopment of the site.”
