Local MP James Sunderland met with Bohunt School's new headteacher and staff to give his support for a new sixth form at the school to start next September.
“I am absolutely clear that Bohunt must get its sixth form. The Trust are right behind it, the teachers are right behind it, the new headteacher wants it to happen and, of course, the council have also made that promise to do what it can to fund the new sixth form.
“Why is this so important? Well, it's important because local students living in Finchampstead and in this part of the world, shouldn't have to travel to Henley, to Farnborough, or outside the county even further to get their sixth form education.”
