James Sunderland visited Activate Learning, Bracknell and Wokingham College as part of Colleges Week 2024.
During his visit, James met with Business T Level students who are doing work experience at Waitrose and John Lewis to find out how it is benefitting their studies.
He also met with Alice Eardley, Chief of Programmes, Melissa Greenough, Programme Manager, and two tutors from Get Further to discuss the importance of small group tuition to help students affected by the pandemic to catch up with their English and maths GCSEs.
He said:
“Thank you to Activate Learning and the team for such an engaging visit. It was great to listen to the students about why they chose T Levels and how they are able to put the theory into practice in their placements.
“Also great to hear from Waitrose and John Lewis and Ringway who are supporting the students.”
